This position is a 30 hour work week for the Seneca/Sabetha program, requiring great customer service skills. This individual must be competent in computer software with knowledge of Excel, Microsoft, and other general computer applications helpful. A valid driver's license is required and must pass the fit for duty, KDOT physical, and the required drug screening. Benefits include health insurance, HSA, KPERS, and more!

Nemaha County Sherriff's Office has an opening for a full-time position for a
Deputy Sherriff
Starting pay is based upon certification and experience. Experience is NOT REQUIRED to apply! Benefits: Health Insurance, KPERS, Deferred Compensation, Vacation and Sick Leave. Job duties: Patrolling Nemaha County and performing law enforcement duties as needed which are including, but not limited to: Investigating complaints, enforcing State and County laws, investigating motor vehicle crashes and other incidents; identifying and collecting evidence found at crime scenes and documenting the same; and making arrests as necessary. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and psychological exam. Applicants must be a Kansas Certified Officer or willing to obtain certification.

Blade Operator/Truck Driver
This person also will be working road maintenance when required. 40 hour work week, benefit package included. Must obtain CDL within 3 months of employment.
